About The Larkin & Lacey Fund

The Larkin & Lacey Frontera Fund was formed by the co-founders of the Phoenix New Times, Michael Lacey and Jim Larkin.

They decided to support migrant rights organizations in Arizona through the settlement money ($3.75 million) that they raised from their wrongful arrest by Sheriff Joe Arpaio.

Presently, the Larkin & Lacey Frontera Fund supports organizations that advocate for human, civil and migrant rights as well as freedom of speech and civil participation across Arizona.
